"No big titles for next year. " Same thing was said early this year, then we had announcements of MH4G/Pokemon ORAS/etc :0
I think you should wait intill march/april to make that claim. This year 3ds will be between 7mil-8.5mil, 2015 aint going to just sharply decline.
