I dunno about Sunset Overdrive but he's absolutely right about Bulletstorm. That game turned old in a hurry. I got about halfway before I quit and traded it in. The leash-kick mechanic bored the heck out of me after the novelty wore off.
As far as Sunset Overdrive goes, it looks to me like it will come down to if you like horde shooters or not. The parkour stuff will probably be a blast for awhile but it will still be a horde shooter. It kind of reminds me of the zombie bits of Saint's Row: The Third, which I thought were tedious.
On the other hand, I think I'd still like to play it for the other parts of the game, which look really nice. The customization, the story, and the characters all seem fun and interesting.
