See, it's even less than that.  Can we honestly say that 'most' gamers prefer PS4 to Xbox One?  Most gamer's haven't moved on from last gen, so who the heck knows (Yeah, it's splitting hairs, but...trying to be fair here).  What we can say is right now, the PS4 seems to be overwhelmingly more popular, and that NPD supports that perception.  His issues is he's not providing any kind of reference, citation, links etc... to substantiate anyone questioning the veracity of NPD's figures.
