The Wii had solid competition in PS3 and XBox 360 that both picked up in sales and ended up selling over 80 million consoles.. Wii struggled to 100 million console sales after a selling 60+ million in its first 3 years on the market.
PS4s competition in XBox One and Wii U are really struggling. Within a year the PS4 has doubled the XBox One sales. Wii U is selling at a much slower rate than the XBox One and had a year head start on both the XBox One and PS4.
