Symmetrical is best IMO
Since I love to play many 2D games, I like to have the d-pad and face buttons symmetrical to eachother. Just feels better. And, for games in which you use 2 analog sticks at once (shooters, some racing games), it's typically more important to be able to comfortably hit the triggers than the face buttons.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
