I say there's two routes for Nintendo to go; either do the fusion a combine the home console and portable sales, thus increasing the install base for 3rd parties to sell to without extra work. Or make a powerful home console, at least in the same ball park as the PS5, and make sure the entire console isn't as archaic as they have been up till now
