It has 50k pre orders for the US. It has sold almost 50k in Japan as of last week. Let's guess world wide, it will have sold in excess of 250k by christmas. Flop? No. I am guessing it will sell similarly to the xbox 360 version of Bayonetta at the least and at the most will be a resounding success. Bayonetta has become a symbol on the Wii U now (a symbol that will move forward with Nintendo) and I can already see a Bayonetta 3.
