Bah I don't see whats "fun" about pressing the same button combos over and over until whatever you're attacking is dead... Devil May Cry is a far better series that follows the same play type and uses the M rating well... The only thing the God of War series brought was the action buttons you had to hit at certain times, but that had been used ever since the Genesis days so nothing really new there... And it doesn't fit the mythology well but that's another story... A lot of the senseless violent games that have failed were never hyped or got media coverage, kids buy anything they see as "cool" on TV or in a magazine.
