After the kids didn't respect the games (Into the nexus disk missing, slip covers taken out and ripped) I decided to move them all downstairs. Which made me have to re-organize my movies to make room. So I decided to take out all the doubles, the DVDs I have upgraded to blu-ray over the years. Turns out I have 61 obsolete DVDs.
I also found 2 copies of Insomnia, the other being the original Scandinavian version :)
I also thought my ps3 was broken. It wouldn't load disks properly anymore nor play movies, and was making bad noises trying to read the disks. After some shaking a plastic pirate coin barely appeared out of the loading slot. grrr kids. It's fine again with the coin removed.
Still addicted to Driveclub, yet lot of fun going through the whole collection. I found plenty I want to watch again some time.
I watched Men vs Wild last night. He went on 'survival' in an abondoned industrial harbor town. I guess it was just an excuse to do some dangerous parkour and show of his skills since it made no sense at all. First building he entered from the roof by crawling / dropping into a vent, great advice to get stuck in a ventilation shaft... Second building he blew the door apart with a gas canister and some secret ingredients. Do not try this if you're not a trained explosions expert, ok useful survival technique.
Then he climbs to the top of a big industrial hall, 100ft high, exerting a lot of effort for 1 pigeon egg in the rafters. Proceeding to climb down along a different path, sliding down a rusty heating pipe, then along elevator cables and squeezing behind and under the stuck elevator. To exit the building he has the brilliant idea to crawl into the sewer with a torch, again almost getting stuck and running out of breathable air. When they exit the sewer they're in the middle of a busy town.
Props to the camera man following him with his equipment over the narrow grimy beams and what not. It's the fps way of traversing buildings lol.
