Uncharted games cost around 20 million. Hundreds of people from multiple studios work on an AC game for multiple years. AC: U is apparently in development for the last four years. I bet its budget is much, much more. Not that I say AC is a bad looking game. I love AC4. |
But it is not as dedicated as a console exclusive, in no way. It is not only dev cost but also a dedication which people work for you and how much they can work on a game exclusively. UbiSoft is a 3rd party company whose devs jump between projects back and forth, from game to game. This doesn't apply to devs who can work exclusively on one console on 1 or 2 games in 3 years.
