Mobile/tablet games only sell as well as they do because of their low price, anything at a higher price would just flop horribly with the majority of those gamers. It will also work to Xbox and Playstation fans that wanted a Nintendo game but didn't like their console. If they have and Android phone, their only obstacle to purchasing the game is their confidence. But again, if the reviews are great, that shouldn't be an issue.
Mobile games fail because they don't have a brand name as high as Nintendo, Naughty Dog, and Bungie. And if Nintendo and Google can make an attractive add-on for the smartphone or tablet devices like companies do with blue tooth keyboards and smart phone covers, game controls won't be an issue.
How can freemium model lose Nintendo fans if they can still buy the whole game at 30$?
