Wouldn't being first/second party to Google mean that Google would own all their new ips though?

Even if that's not the case they would probably make more money by just being multiplatform and paying the fees. Especially with some of their games... I'm thinking Pokemon MMO for PC...

Oh shoot I didn't think about that.

Nintendo games are better suited to  the smart phone/tablet users though. And that market will continue to increase while home console games continue to decrease.

And Pokemon can work well with anything. But it would work better on smart phones and smart devices given its social aspect of trading.
