That's a pretty bold statement considering Wii Fit is nearly at 2 million in Japan. I would easily expect 3-4 million in NA and then only 1 million would need to be sold in the EU, which I'm guessing will be pretty easy.

 I agree with you but in his defense, 1 million of those Wii Fits were sold in 2007.  Japan should sell 1 million+, 3-4 million in NA, and 2-3 million in Europe this year.  I'm thinking 6-9 million in 08.  Depending on how many developers support it and how soon Nintendo drops the price ($20 in Jan 09 would be best), WW LT sales could reach 20 million.
