I got the Wii U for MK8.
It is lacking games (but the other new consoles are also lacking), but I don't play 20 games a year. I spend my time and money on very high quality games rather than on multiple generic games.
Smash Bros and Bayonetta 2 will become mine before the end of this year. That would make 3 great games for the system. W101 was a disappointment but Bayonetta 2 looks great in the demo.
