Switzerland has among the biggest average wages in the world. That's a proof that high wages is not a cause of unemployement. Which makes minimum wages a good thing. Bad example.
Edit : Even afghanistan and china have minimum wages. I'm sure illinois people don't want to have less social policy than afghanistan and china.
