This is Tokyo EAD, a studio that specializes in making puzzle platformer games. They have none of the necessary experience, or likely the resources, manpower, or desire to make a WRPG or an FPS.
I agree with you that Nintendo should diversify, but none of what you suggested is a realistic alternative for this particular studio.
