Any game that they would care about that will come to WiiU wont matter all that much. Most 1st party WiiU games have counterparts that already released on the 3DS and the 3DS is always going to be more popular as it also gets major 3rd party games and well its a handheld.
Nintendo competes with themselves and their home console will struggle because of it.
