I have no problems with a biased review, as long as the reviewer is open about them.

i.e. "I'm not a fan of this genre, but these are the points that I liked"
or "I am the world's no. 1 fan of this series, everything was as expected. Perfect."

At the end of the day, it's all subjective and what one reviewer may rave on about as the second coming, may not interest me in the slightest (even if it is a good game). But if you can relate to the reviewer, with their general likes and dislikes, odds are that their review is for you.
