text chat in the console version of destiny would be dumb and unneeded. no one has keyboards.
..i do wish that i could see my guild mates in game and i do wish that i could talk to to people i'm playing with via matchmaking and i do wish there as on option to have matchmaking for raids. even though my friends list has exploded it's still hard for me to be online at the same time as my friends for a raid. i just can't make the 5pm start you guys are doing. as bad as pugs are it'd like to at least try the raid.
but i've met soo many new gamers since starting destiny. it has been great.
