I think Xbox one is hugely undertracked. Firstly China alone is over 100k first 24 hours. EU seems way off and US I predict is now already microsofts.

There will be some big changes when Microsoft reveals its shipped numbers. Xbox one will get a big boost on this site then.


If anything it's overtracked here. What you're describing is confirmation bias. I am a PC and Nintendo fan, but PS4 is absolutely crushing it, all you have to do is look at sales charts, Best Buy, Gamestop, and the ever reliable Amazon charts. If NPD comes and shows yet another 2 to 1 US victory, will the last remnants of these unrealistic beliefs die out? I swear it feels like a religious cult to me, these few who consistently have faith in something that is so unlikely and unproven that it defies logic and sanity. 


dude its just my opinion. We will see. If it hasn't already, I certainly think halo will bring Xbox to the fore in us. Mcc is possibly the best fanfare ever to grace gaming. And a lot of us people love halo. But hey we will see. Personally I actually don't care. I dont really like Sonya games as they tend to be over the top cinematic and linear gameplay. So ill always prefer games like gears of war or halo to uncharted or the last of us. Although I ove me some god of war. By far Sonys best game.

No one will stop you from having or making your opinion. But everyone will argue with the facts that leads to whatever opinions you have. In the event where you see your facts convincingly discredited then the sane thing to do will be to change your opinion. Lest you fall into the "cult defying logc and sanity" category he was decribing.

Like sony, MS is working with an affiliate in china to handle sales of their consoles. The affiliate did not say they sold out 100K consoles, they said they were recieving a shipment of 100k consoles for launch day. Kinda like how sony or rather their affliate is also now saying that they are recieving a shipment of 20ok consoles for launch. Only difference is that unlike MS, sony went on to say that it expect to sell 200k/year in that region. That should hep put some things into perspective for you.

And you predict US is now already MS's? Have you seen or been following the NPD numbers? If we go by NPD numbers (just to be sure we are on the same page they only track US numbers) then for almost every month of this yeat NPD has shown that the XB1 was over tracked here on VGC. And even at that the PS4 was still outselling it every single month of this year too. So you must understand why it seems illogical when you come making opinions with such claims here.

And shipped numbers? So you want to base everything off shipped numbers? Think about this, sony is a hardware company. Primarily. If we want to go off shipped numbers chances are that sony will win the shipping gam every single time. That aside, lets say MS announces shipped numbers of 15M, does that now mean they have sold 15M consoles? Assuming you will say/think yes to that... what would yu now say if a week later sony annouces shipped numbers of 22M?


I didn't mean they were now beating ps4 in us overall. I meant u believe the last couple weeks ms are in front weekly. I'm just saying  vgc are undertracking Xbox one last few weeks. That was all.

 

On the China thing. I read a statement 24 hours after launch that said they sold 100k. That was a statement from the company. And different from any shipped statements before launch. Also I thought the only 100k shipped thing was debunked as rubbish and Microsoft shipped a lot more than that first week?
