I would assume that the system sells out in China just based on the fact that it has been so long since China allowed a console of this nature to be sold.

I don't think thats possible. I thik that 100k units shipped is for the year or six months. Or not then it would be safe to assume that of the 200k sony ships theer in december they will all sell out too? If sony is pointing out that they expect to sell 200k/year in china, I think that should be an indication of just how many consoles they believe they would be selling monthly. But hey, we don't know.
