Anyway I don't mind the crossovers between Characters. Kind of reminds me of the old days when everybody thought there was an Akuma code for Resident Evil 2. We all know it's false, but it would have been Hell cool if it was real!!! Or when X did Hadokens and Shoryukens in Mega Man X and X2 respectively. Crossovers are cool! We live in a generation where this is possible and we should be thankful for it!
You say Link is out of place but hey, it's not like MK8 has a grand story where his presence doesn't make sense. MK8 is made for fun, and I'm all in for making the game as fun and appealing as possible.
