Hindsight is 20-20. Here is the thing Nintendo was never going to compete with Sony and Ms because they are not big enough to do so. So it was inevitable that things were going to end up this way. All thats left is for them to figure out there own market, which time will tell. If they dont then they dont. But trying to bankrupt the company by keeping up a bidding war with MS and Sony is certain death.

lolwut? You do realise they have more money than the Xbox and Playstation divisions right? All they had to do was maintain their position as #1 in the industry and they couldn't even do that.

They don't have more $$$ than Microsoft. The $2.5b Minecraft deal shows this. They tried to monetarily compete with Sony in the 6th gen with games like Resident Evil, Baten Kaitos, MGS Twin Snakes, Tales of Symphonia, etc and got whooped. The most they can probably do is get multiplats.
