Fanboyism is a funny thing. I'm a fan of Xbox because.I like Xbox exclusives more than PlayStation. But I'm the sort of fan that can still criticise my console of choice. Hell I said in these very forums that horizon 2 is a great game with amazing graphics, but Wtf with the spray from vehicles? It looks out of place. But that will be brushed over if I say something about a ps title. It's just the way fanboyism works.
Some are blinded by their fanboyism, while others are fans but are much more level headed.
