If the Nintendo Fusion is another hardcore gaming system, it won't sell more than the Wii U and 3DS combined.

Yeah, Nintendo have handled their DLC in a GREAT way! But as far as unified accounts and everything around that (with friend codes and whatnot), well... let's just say that's not Nintendo's strongest points

It's true that haven't gotten there yet, but if you recall, at the investor meeting in January or February, Iwata spoke about that and how that would be his new notion of platform.
They are going to go that route aswell. There's just no news if it will happen this generation or only in the next generation.
