What I find funny is that we had the exact same debate in the 7th gen; people claimed that the PS3 could do native 1080p with good framerates. I think I can count on two hands the amount of proper titles with full HD and decent framerate.

Which ones did? The only ones I can think of are WipeOut HD (and that didn't maintain 1080p) and Ridge Racer 7.
