So my old Linksys wireless router kept crapping out at home, so I got a Belkin...I didn't feel like getting another Linksys and Belkin is what Circuit City had plenty of.

Seems to be working fine, hasn't died on me or anything, but my sister has a Linksys USB wireless adapter for her PC, and now it appears to have crapped out. WTF. I don't know if it's because it can't communicate with the router or it really has screwed up. It just says "disconnected" under Wireless Connection in Windows XP, as if it's unplugged or something, I don't know.

I've tried disabling and re-enabling it, maybe I didn't set up the wireless network properly...but I don't care, it's just an open network currently...it should at least be able to detect it...but Windows says the adapter is simply disconnected.

So IF I can't get it to work, I'm gonna buy a PCI card, and apparently Belkin's selection of cards and USB adapters kinda suck. Like, I'm afraid to buy them...so I'm thinking of D-Link or maybe another Linksys. Will these work with my router? I feel stupid, but I know mixing brands of routers and adapters doesn't work sometimes...

I was thinking of getting this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833127080

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
