Regardless. A timed exclusive, or the mere fact a Japanese multi-platform game is HUGE for the 360.
The PS2 had so much dominance last gen because very few games came out for GC that were 3rd party, and litterally none ouside of MS-bought Tecmo games, were there for the 360.
I ultimately think that the PS3 will lose MGS4 to the 360, even if it's timed exclusive on the 360 at some point. This hurts PS3, but not as badly as day-and-date games.
I think we'll see Ridge Racer, should Namco keep the franchise, goto the Wii, or just become multi-platform
Tales of was rumored to becoming to the 360 - with the huge support Namco has been giving the 360, I wouldn't be suprised if it was PS3/360, or even a 360 timed exclusive.
I agree with alot of people, and I myself said months ago that KH3 will either be Wii-exclusive, or will be multiport to some system(s). I almost guarentee it. Square has really been spreading their franchises around, and Kingdom Hearts is strongest in the US, with both games going over 2m. Square supported the DS with DQIX - the strongest Japanese game they have on the strongest Japanese gaming system. Could the 360 get Kingdom Hearts 3 since it's strongest in the US? It somewhat defies logic, as the 360 is a "hardcore" machine, but with MS vying to get more family-friendly titles, it might try extra hard, between the large lead it has vs. the Wii, huge attach ratios, and Rare, we could see it.
Wouldn't it be a shocker, though, to see KH3 on the 360? Definately would be the biggest "oh crap" in the history of gaming - even bigger than DQIX on the DS, IMO. But I give KH3 about a 25% of being on 360 - however, if MS ever was able to get it, they should die over getting it (get KH3 exclusivity at all costs, even if it meant paying 50% for the game).
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
