When will the 3DS pass the GBA in Japan?

i wish, those numbers ae higher than freaking Launch numbers, i think the highest revision ever was DSi and it was around 250k..... but then again we do have 2 revisions...... Lets gooooo n3ds! Do 1mil in 2 days

Well July 28, 2012 they release the 3DS LL in Japan and it sold 240k in that week. No major game release with new 3ds XL.

The new 3DS will attract new customer and Japanese gamers that want to upgrade from 3DS and 3DS LL. THey have two offering two New 3ds (face plate swapping) and New 3ds LL. 

It's coming out with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Nintendo will sell much more then 240K.... hence 500k - 1 million prediction.
