You know what the crazy part is, the X1 and PS4 both scale up to 1080P. If the AA/AF is good in the game, both being 900P with a rock solid framerate probably would be a much better situation than a variable 1080P. It does seem said that people care more about a few extra pixels than whether or not the game is fun to play. I remember many gamers saying they would take worst graphics for better gameplay since developers concentrate on the graphics more than making a good game these days.
