If by sucess you mean enough sales to grant a sequel F-Zero is done, Miyamoto has stated several times he don't want to make another one. If it sells 20M+ we may get a 1080p downloadable remaster split in several parts.

Metroid never sold too much to begin with, and with Wii U's small userbase plus the not so good reception of the last game combined I can see a Wii U Metroid selling less than 1M. I don't know if that's enough for Nintendo to kill Metroid, but seems possible.

F-Zero could be handed to Shin'en (If they like to be associated with it) and maybe be an eShop game, with DLC every other month. 

wipE'out, that is a more known game, is dead a long time ago, and so is F-Zero. It would need a massive hype and marketing effort to sell even half a million.
