Why do Sony fans keep mentioning the shareholders? MS clearly doesn't make all their decisions based solely on what some shareholders want. Anyhow, the larger market share means greater potential profits from software, Gold memberships, etc. I'm not saying the price is the only reason 360 did well. It was just a huge reason. Wii U is struggling because the tablet control isn't appealing and casual audiences aren't buying next gen consoles. If CoD is Sony's then it would be an exclusive. |
I clearly didn't mean COD is Sony's like that. I meant it does most of it's sales on playstation now so the COD community on PS is bigger than it on Xbox. That's all so don't imply I meant anything esle. Couldn't think of a better way to world it.
As for the shareholders. They were happy as it is so do you think MS selling the same hardware at 200$ less wouldn't cause a riot?
If it was 200$ less you could prob say they'd sell a good 80m and that number of consoles x 200$ is 14 billion. Honeslty your suggestion of them selling it much cheaper is daft and nop company run by shareholders in their right mind would allow it. The hardware would need to be 200$ cheaper to build so that would mean it would have the power of the PS3/360. SO yeah I don't think your suggestion was viable.
