The only thing the casuals will go for with the Ps3 is its multimedia capabilities, which are large, and blu-ray not games. Leo-j, 360 is cheaper than the Ps3. How's the price advantage helping it now? Not as good as the $400.00 Ps3 is it? People get the Wii because they want to PLAY it! Is that so hard to understand? You have to come up with something everytime the Wii does good. (Which is all the time considering it always does good.) Remember leo-j, if price really mattered, 120 million of us would have Gamecubes sitting hooked up to our Tvs. |
That would be a worthwhile comparison if the Gamecube cost half the price of the PS2.
Price is the single biggest factor for the mainstream casual market, and sales increases as a result of price cuts reflect this fact. The PS3 is the only console that doesn't have an SKU within the mass market price point.
