I agree with the guy that says that Pokemon should be more teen. Other than Metroid however, I really have no urge to see a more "mature" set of Nintendo's classics. I prefer the art style revealed for Zelda Wii U to the one shown in the Wii U reveal demo, for example. What made me Nintendo my favorite game company is the innovative, polished gameplay and the masterpieces they spawn ever so often, not bloated by things I don't really care about (like excessive focus on online at the expense of couch multiplayer).
I would love certain games to be a little less kiddy, but it doesn't mean I want them to be "mature" either. Here's an example: Pikmin. I didn't play the first 2 but I got Pikmin 3 during that Mario Kart 8 promo earlier this year. I've only played to Day 11 (the in-game days), but I'm already starting to see why the game is critically acclaimed. It has unique gameplay very different from anything I've played before, but I wish my characters didn't look and sound so darn ridiculous! I don't need realistic characters that would look out of place in the imaginative worlds Nintendo creates (worlds were chickens can be used as parachutes), but Pikmin's characters are awful to me.
