Meh, all those are B-list on Nintendo home console. They would sell profitably no doubt but none of those games individually or collectively would "get them[selves] out of this mess as they have done in the past."
And how exactly have they got themselves out of a mess in the past? The only way they got themselves out of a mess was to release a whole new console called Wii, with games that included none of the above driving huge amounts of sales.
In terms of game sales Metroid must be one of the weakest Nintendo franchises. The only way to get huge sales from Metroid would be for Nintendo to finally show Samus's naked boobies at the end of the game. But then in this day and age that money shot would be on the interwebs within a day of the game launching, so maybe not even then.
