I'm sure VGC will put the X1 on top a few weeks this year, before inevitable correcting their mistakes in a few months to show that the X1 didn't actually win a single week. Hell, this week feels incredibly undertracked.

I thik its simple really.... the PS4 or PS consoles in general tend to do much better in places that VGC can't really get accurate data for and in some cases no data at all.. EU and ROW respectively. Like take some countries in Africa like say Nigeria. There are over 150M people there, and contraray to what TV may have you think at least 30M of those people can affford a new console. Funny thing about places/countries like that is that they are completely sony land. And the same can be said for any other major part of Africa.
