The protest comes from the regime change on 1997 when HongKong switched from the UK to CHina.. China promised to keep the voting freedom in Hong Kong but are backing out now.. people in Hong Kong are upset.. its about Hong Kong keeping certain independent rights.. there is no US influence in here.
