It says in the article that MS "has exclusively tied up with Amazon for its delivery in the country".
The title is a tad misleading, but Amazon's wording implies the launch was rather lackluster regardless (at least with regards to pre-orders). They apparently still have "hundreds" of pre-orders to fulfill in other cities. Hundreds! :p
When i say lackluster i mean within context to the rest of the world, of course. Haven't a clue what you'd traditionally expect from India itself.
