Yeah its kind of annoying and Pokebank may allow you to save Pokemon but deletes the items as well as previously mentioned.
I rather have a hard difficulty setting like Black 2 did but at the START of the game. I thought restarting the game after getting the key would let me play the game in Hard mode. NOPE. Deleting the game also deleted that option >_>
