I think it would be unlikely for that to happen. There is no evidence the fungus can be transmitted sexually. Besides that, wasn't it mentioned that her version of the infection had mutated within her? So maybe it isn't even contagious at all from her.

Well, that is all up to whoever will continue to write the story if is is continued at all.
