The bottom line is that, while the PS4 reached Nintendo HW sooner, it took them a bit more time to match Nintendo's SW sales, being testament to Nintendo's ability to sell games. A good counter-argument are bundled games, but these exist on all consoles.

well i dont see how it is testament. PS4 should not have passed Wii U at all SW or HW considering it had a year headstart and was and is still more expensive. And all in the same year
