Is a 99.9% cheat free multiplayer environment worth $5/month?
Sure it would be great if it was free.
Here's the thing, I'm a pretty cheap player, I sold my Halo 3 copy has soon as they announced the price for the three new maps.... I thought it was a ripoff. I didn't purchase Katamary because I heard the new DLC was already in the game and you just had to download a "code" to unlock it. I'm not purchasing the new Battlefield game because of the so called "Purchasing guns fiasco".
But yet, I have no issues paying $5/month for Xbox Live.
I guess it just comes down to value. Cheaters/hackers have ruined the online PC gaming world for me, I choose to play somewhere else.
