Really? I thought it was because the voters of these threads are mainly filled with Nintendo fans. I mean, the Microsoft fans ignore these threads completely. The Sony fans have some voters but are clearly the minority. 

With the series elimination game there were a lot of sony fans. They just didn't rally.

If you're talking about the game I had it might be because it was a Playstation franchise elimination game, and not a "franchise elimination game".
