Probably few sites treat the figures of VG Charts. This is because,
1. In many cases, Media Create has considered as most reliable source for Japanese figure.
2. A large number of game users have little interest for the sales of America or other countries...
But the figures of VG and NPD are often used in some place, especially the biggest Japanese BBS (called 2ch).
NPD is known as reliable data of Ameriacan sales and the sales of Console is most-watched data.
VG data is mainly used for checking the total sales of games out of Top 10. But it is said that "We should consider that the VG figures are 10% higher than actual figure."
