25K is similar to the opening of Watchdogs for XBox One, which went on to sell about 50K in germany and 300K for Europe. Germany sales tend to be between 1/4 and 1/6 of Europe. So sales could wind up somewhere between 200 and 300K for Europe...

Zelda games tend to sell between 1.5 and 2 times as much in US as they do in Europe, so US sales can be anywhere between 400 and 600K. At the lower end of EU and USA estimates, that'd be 700-750K with Japanese sales factored in. On the higher end of these estimates, the game could just pass a million in sales.

Mario Kart did 400k in US first month for reference. Do people really think Hyrule is going to come close to that?

Super Mario 3D World in November did 220k in US

I can't speak for anyone else, but I didn't say Hyrule would come close to that.  The 300K figure was  an estimate for lifetime.  Nowhere did it say first month.
