Am usually a single player gamer so no not worth it for me at the moment, although I do have the odd Halo 3/GOW itch once in a while. But if they step up the cross platform to PC then it will be much more painful to forgo. There are only 3 games you can play with PC players, Halo 2, Shadowrun and Uno. Not really impressive.
On a business sense, this generates lots of revenue, so if this means more excusitivity and ups production values of MGS games, I cant complain.
