Hudson is throwing some serious weight behind WiiWare, ten upcoming titles, IIRC. Since they also have a large number of VC titles, I take this to mean that they've made a nice nickel on VC and see downloadable games as a big growth market.
Right now, Hudson is the king of casual/party software. It's cheap to develop and some of them sell extremely well, so I have no doubt that they're raking it in from things like Deca Sports and Bomberman games.
