Not that I agree with comparing Destiny to Titanfall (although they do have their similarities), but if you take this argument into account and consider that both the PS3 and 360 have userbases of 80 million, it would not explain why the majority of games struggle to hit 1 million in sales.
Somewhere there must be 79 million people staring at their shiny consoles and wondering why they aren't playing anything.
