Great win by the Giants they on a roll.

Well, they beat two pretty bad/beat up teams. They may win a few more, but their schedule looks pretty rough. Let's play it out to the end :

Week 4 2-2

Falcons (W?)

At Eagles (L)

At Cowboys (L)

Colts (L)

At Seahawks (LLLLLL)

49ers (L)

Cowboys (W)

At Jags (W)

At Titans (W)

Redskins (L)

At Rams (W)

Eagles (L)

Final Prediction : 7-9

I was generous and handed them wins in a split with the Cowboys, and against Falcons, Jags and Titans. I don't see them able to win vs. Philly or SF (even in SF's degraded state). I think they also lose the rematch with Washington as that's a looooong way off and they can get healthy again, but even if they win that, that's an 8-8 record. They're already 1-2 in conference games, so there's that as well.

I think Philly takes the NFC East this year, though I picked the Cowboys in my initial predictions. I just don't have the confidence that Dallas can do better than a split with Philly towards the end of the year, and they also have the Colts and Seahawks in the schedule, neither of which sound like good odds for Dallas, and then you also have the Bears and Cardinals on the schedule, either of which could give Dallas trouble.

In contrast, the remaining Eagles schedule is pretty easy. Rams, Giants, Texans, Panthers, Packers, Titans, Cowboys twice, and of course Redskins and Giants once more to close the year. Only tough game they have left is the Seahawks once in Philly.

It's all academic though, as Philly will get crushed in the playoffs (as would the Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins, lol). The NFC East is just weak.
