How much you want to bet many of these instances happen due to people having their phones in their back pockets and sitting on the phones?

Maybe someone pointed this out to already cause only on page 1, but he does the exact same test with the Note 3 and you can see that he actually uses way more force than he did with the Iphone and the note 3 barely barely barely bent.  

Happens with all phones?  I don't recall ever hearing in my life a phone bending.  Never even considered it to be a risk or problem.  I never use a case for my phones and never had one bend at all.  Always use in my front pocket.  I don't wear skinny jeans, but at times with a phone in a pocket (with how big they are these days) and sitting down, at timse it sure feels like i have skinny jeans on.

I watched that video and commented, but yes, many phones have stories of them breaking from bending. I even posted a link. Breaking/bending isn't an iPhone exclusive feature.

Only a few posts up I posted a new video from the user that shows the iPhone6 does not suffer the same issue as the iPhone 6+. It stands up just as much as a HTC One M8. New MotoX is straight up beast though. Might have to do with the convex design of the backing too.

People need to realize A.) iPhone 6+ is HUGE. B.) iPhone 6+ is incredibly thin. C.) iPhone 6+ is flat backed and aluminum.

 

It was bound to bend. It's part of why I went with the smaller 6. I don't care much for phablets.

iPhone 6+ needs to be made with thicker aluminum casing and needs to be a thicker device overall.
